"Recyling at its finest"

Films: Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla II (1993)

Alias: Super-Mechagodzilla

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: 120 meters and 150,000 metric tons.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: Ghidorah and Mothra weren't the only monsters making a return in this era. Another familiar foe was on the horizon. And this time, it's our doing. But hey! At least this Mechagodzilla isn't piloted by crazed monkeys!

History: After salvaging the broken parts of Mecha-King Ghidorah, the G-Force used what they had to make a new mecha. With the futuristic metal, they crafted Mechagodzilla, perhaps one of their greatest war machines, outclassing even the Garuda that they built earlier. Now, Godzilla would truly meet his match.

Notable Kills: Nothing special

Final Fate: After Mechagodzilla combines with the Garuda, becoming Super Mechagodzilla, it destroys Godzilla's secondary brain, and seemingly kills him. Then Rodan sacrifices himself to give the monster life and power. Soon, Godzilla uses all of that to melt his opponents defenses and obliterate the mech with the Spiral Beam.

Powers/Abilities: Aside from combing with the Garuda, Mechagodzilla comes with a Mega Buster beam, eye beam cannons, electric shock cables (later upgraded into the G-Crusher), missiles for paralyzing and tranquilizing, and plasma grenades. He is also made of Futurian metal, making him virtually impenetrable.

Weakness: Extreme heat, beings of equal or greater power.

Scariness Factor: 3-Quite possibly due to being made by us, this mech loses the fierce look the original Mechagodzilla had, looking rather dopey and even a little thick in the thighs instead. Still, it's a powerful mech, enough to bring down Godzilla a couple of times.

Trivia: -Before Mechagodzilla, Godzilla was proposed to fight Mechani-Kong of all mechs instead. Later, Mechagodzilla would go through several design phases, such as being a metallic monstrosity known as Berserk taking on the monster's form, and a more Showa-esque form that would ultimately be turned into a figure by S.H. Monsterarts.

-Originally, Mechagodzilla was slated to return to help Godzilla fight Spacegodzilla, but there was more demand for the return of Moguera instead.

"They brought YOU back from Showa Hell?!"

A guy at S.H. Monster Arts looks at this with feverish joy.

Throw everything at here and see what sticks. You're doing it wrong.

Can't we call it Garudazilla?
